LIBERTY COUNTY JAIL
The expansion of the Liberty County Jail was a 47,000 square foot project that included the renovation of administrative areas of the current Liberty County Jail. In addition to the renovation work, the $6.4 million project also included the construction of a new two-story cell pod housing facility, work release building, and low-security barracks for prisoners who commit misdemeanor crimes and are incarcerated on the weekend. Waters Mechanical was the HVAC subcontractor for this project. McKnight Construction was the general contractor for the project.
THE PINES AT WILLOWBROOK
The Pines at Willowbrook is an 80-unit apartment community constructed in 2003 in Hinesville, Georgia near the Fort Stewart military base. This mixed-income community targets 80% of its units to low-income households earning 50% and 60% of the Area Median Income, with the remaining 20% of the units offered at market rates. Waters Mechanical was the HVAC subcontractor for this project. Liberty Construction was the general contractor for the project.
HAMPTON INN & SUITES
The newly-built Four Points by Sheraton is a 127 room luxury hotel located in historic downtown Savannah, Ga. The facility included guest rooms, conference rooms, restaurant with dining facility, lobby, & staff offices. The construction costs for this project were in excess of $10 million. Waters Mechanical was the HVAC subcontractor for this project. Pinkerton & Laws was the general contractor for the project.
HILTON GARDEN INN
The Hilton Garden Inn is located at the Savannah – Hilton Head International Airport just off I-95. The facility includes 113 guest rooms, conference rooms, restaurant with dining facility, lobby, & staff offices. The construction costs for this project were in excess of $8 million. Waters Mechanical was the HVAC subcontractor for this project. Pinkerton & Laws was the general contractor for the project.
NATIONAL GUARD BARRACKS / LATRINES
The National Guard Barracks / Latrines is located on the Fort Stewart Army Base in Liberty County. The project consisted of the renovation of approximately 95 Barracks & 25 Latrines. The existing structures which were utilized by the National Guard for housing were non-conditioned prior to the renovation. The HVAC cost for this project were approximately $1 million. Waters Mechanical was the HVAC subcontractor for this project. Shaw - Beneco was the general contractor for the project.
